So I'm sitting here enjoying my coffee and a spectacular Malibu view, and I started to think...how fortunate it is to have my health, my family, friends. The privilege to do what I love and then I remembered ..that's what gets me in trouble...Thinking instead of being in the moment and just enjoying.
My career journey could have something to do with this....When I was practicing attorney it was all heady and thinking stuff. As an actor, it's all about the heart. Tis the conflict.
Wouldn't it be great to live moment to moment all the time? I know, I know, we do have to think about things..living, work, career stuff. But then there are those moments. Those moments of..wow, I just lost my train of thought. I guess I was caught up in the moment:)

Take a Breath
So if not now, then when? When will you have time? With all the pressures of everyday living,
working, family, or responding quickly to an email. It can sometimes be overwhelming.
Today is the today to try something new.
Just a breath. If only for this moment. After all, this moment is all you really have. Take this breath. A breath that is absent of worry, fear or stress. That's it! How was that? I have another challenge for you....take another breath. Now was that hard? Well before you know it, you're breathing in and out from moment to moment.
Have you noticed when you breathe this way, nothing else matters? Conflict? What conflict?
Fear...haven't noticed. Everything thing is in this moment of breath that you take.
So remember, when you're thinking too much about the future or the past. Just take a breath.
I thought I'd take a breath to write this.
Namaste.
